“The economy has been bad this year, so we’ve cut our marketing budget”. A quote that has always confused us.
Eat was recruited by The Peninsula Tokyo in 2006, a year before the hotel’s opening, as their exclusive agency to support the Japan launch. Working with their marketing team, over the course of the year, we localised their entire brand collateral, creating a full-set of bilingual material – from in-room directories to magazine advertising. Post launch, we act as the hotel’s brand guardian, developing and updating materials as required.
In parallel we work on Japan specific sub-brands; the hotel’s wedding kit and ‘Cirque Culinaire’ gourmet food and wine event, among others.
